'The 12 Days of Christmas' meant 12 days of surprises for 12 deserving people in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland all nominated by BBC Radio Leicester listeners.

Frank Spencer was nominated by his wife Gwen because he will help anyone and everyone. We surprised Frank at Narborough Bowls Club where he goes every Tuesday to maintain the grounds.

He loves brass bands so we arranged for horn players, Henry Shipley and his wife Cathlyn, to turn up at the bowls club and play him some festive tunes...
